Dog Attack (PicLits)

My cousin and I was walking through the park. As we were walking, a dog stormed out of know where,then it started to chase after us. We ran as fast as we could, to get help, but we were not fast enough. We may of ran to a place where the dog could get us, the dog court us, it was coming closer and closer to us, I ran and left my cousin their. When I left my cousin, I got a call late last night saying she was in hospital, she stayed in hospital for 4 weeks.

Spending 4 weeks in hospital was really sad for my cousin. When I went to go and visit her, she was really upset with me. As she was spending 4 weeks in hospital, she had nothing to do, just lay in her bed and watch T.V. Then it came to the fourth week in hospital she came out.

When my cousin got out of hospital, we both went for a walk through the park again. As we were walking, a dog ran out of know where and started to run after us. We ran as fast as we could to get help, but we were not fast enough. We may of ran to a place where the dog could get us, it came closer and closer to us, my cousin ran away and left me. Poor me spent an awful 4 weeks in hospital.

As I spent four weeks in hospital, I did nothing at all. So then I got out of hospital on the fourth week. Then we both went for a walk through the park again and the both of us spent 4 weeks in hospital. Poor us, we never learn't our lesson.

Stomach Churning

One day me and my family went onto the roller coaster at rainbow ends.


As soon as we went onto the roller coaster, it went so fast that i fell out and poor family was sad.


The roller coaster stopped. Then mum called someone over to help me. People came over to see how I was feeling.

After having a dumb week in hospital, we went back to rainbow ends and had a lovely day.

Mount Tongariro

Mount Tongariro is a  volcano in the Taupo 

Volcanic Zone of the North Island of New Zealand. A volcano Mount Tongariro,  in New Zealand the North Island, erupted for  the first time in 115 years. Creating an ash cloud closed roads and before moving off the coast, disrupted regional air travel.

The eruption was reported by a member of the public. New Zealand scientists are monitoring the event.The scientists said that it  was driven by the steam rather than magma. It can’t rule out further explosions.   

Volcano Erupts

Did you know that a volcano in Guatemala erupted. After this massive volcano eruption over 10,000 people were forced to evacuate  from their homes . It happened late last week  on friday the 20th of september 2012. People living nearby said that the roaring of the volcano was so loud that it was shaking their windows. 

After an ash cloud started to spread miles around all air travel in the area was cancelled by Friday morning. Lava had already been blasted over four miles away from Fuego's crater.

 It's the largest eruption in the country since 1999. It happened because the volcano was spewing ash and lava out of its crater. Click this link below and it will show you some more information about Guatemala Volcano.

Danger Of Smoking

Smoking is a cause of death. Why? The chemicals in the cigarettes  causes disease in your body. 

Smoking can contain danger to teenagers and other people. The danger of smoking is that tobacco can cause damage to your brain, make you have lung cancer and a heart disease.

Likely adults who smoke will die sooner., especially if they started as teenagers. Your chances of getting heart disease and strokes is more likely to happen 2 to 13 times.

What I have shown is that what tobacco can do to people's bodies and what is likely to happen. Thank you Chanel for checking my work.

SMOKING, IS NOT OUR FUTURE 

On Friday the 17th of August Pt England ran cross country. It was an awesome experience for me because I knew that I was going to do much better than before. The starting point was on the Pt England Field. At the starting point I was nervous and worried at the same time. When Mr Burt Said “ On your marks, Get set GO” I ran as fast as I could.

Running around the corner was this big blob of mud. As I was running towards the reserve I had Mud all up my legs. Then as I hit the track on the reserve I was pacing myself. Then I got further and further. As I pass Chante I got catched up to Turuhira, then I knew that I was coming third place.

Coming up to the finish line people were cheering me on. Then I cross the finish line. I was so proud of myself for coming third place. That was My awesome Experience.  Thank You Dakota for helping me out with my Writing.

The London Games

The London olympics is finished now. So in our class we have been back from a wonderful weekend and came to school to write about the Closing Ceremony.

But before the olympics closed, I watched the BMX race on prime. Sarah Walker is a BMX racer champion. During the Olympics game on Saturday the 11 of August 6:03 she won a silver medal by coming second place.

Sarah Walker is a BMX racer who was born in Whakatane, New Zealand, and lives in Kawerau, New Zealand. She started BMX in 1999 when she saw her brother, Matt, riding one day.

But she could do better by achieving a Gold Medal. Practice, Practice, Practice, Makes Perfect.
