Special Occasions

I have an celebration coming up in two more week. I am really excited because it is my mums 51st birthday. Every year at least all of my family members celebrate their birthdays.

Did you know after my mums birthday it would be my niece
Waimania birthday then after her birthday, it would be my big sister's 20th birthday, man isn't that amazing one birthday after another. Man it is going to be wicked. Day by day I'm thinking what am I going to get my mum for her birthday present.

Do you like special occasion? When a special occasion is on like (Weddings, Birthdays ect). Two years ago me and my family got invited to my aunt's wedding. We had to wear a long dress. Wearing dresses isn't my type of thing. But at the end of the day it was a really awesome day.

Going to special occasion is really awesome and cool. You can't go back in time so it's really nice to be apart of something that, that person will remember for their life's. If you haven’t been to one try it out sometime. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Intermediate Softball Tournament

Arriving to Wesley Intermediate, I thought to myself, wow this is a big school for Intermediate. As we drove up the the driveway it was a big surprise.

After an awful game against Mansel Intermediate, we played a game against  Royal Oak. We had to hurry because the horn went off. Running with the gear in my hands, I just about fell over. We got there just in time. Batter up the umpire called out. Jaylee ran out to bat first. First pitch the, Jaylee hit the ball, there’s the ball flying in the air like a bird. She stopped a base two. Now it was my turn. Watching the pitcher pitch the ball. It was really hard because the pitcher good pitch real fast.  I swung the bat, hitting the ball in the air. Making a home run, it twas game.

After a hot day at the Intermediate girls softball tournament we all sat down under the tree and got told our results. As the year 8 girls had a tough day we got told the result of what we out of whole of auckland. Coming 7th was a great place. But next we could at least come 4th or 5th. I would like to thank Mrs Lagitupu, Miss Va’afusuanga and to all the parent that let us go to have a awesome day a Wesley Intermediate.

What we do online

Kia ora, my name is Tauwhare as you already know. At Pt England we use Netbook and Chromebooks. What we do on our netbook is writing online instead of writing on paper. Netbook and Chromebooks can help us with our maths, reading and writing.

Did you know it took 3 year just to get wireless around the community. Most of the schools around our community are apart of the manaiakalani program. Netbook and Chromebooks can help student at our school to learn more.

Did you know that we go on sites like, Maths whizz, Xtra Maths and Study Ladder maths, also Study Ladder reading. Every morning we log into our google docs to do writing. When we finish our writing we will have to edit it then after that we post it on our blog, like what I did.

Another day at the beach.

The rushing ocean comes to a close tide, as footprints appear on the smoothest sand. Wearing long brown pants with an oversized grey and
black coat, as he walks along the beach. Waves washing ashore reaching the tip of his feet.

Strolling along the beach, as he takes a walk through the salty water. He’s hearing seagulls scavenging for food and people cheering on with their family. He dips his feet under the black sand as the foamy waves washed up upon his feet. Looking down he see crystal blasing in the golden sand. Step by step he feels the prevailing winds blow his grey old hair back.

Walking among the shore line he looks out into the distance and see a crowd of people on their surfboards, surfing the big waves. As he’s trudging along, he breaths in the scent of the sea as waves wash up on the shore.

Step by step, he left footprints as he walks along the shore line. Looking out to the end of the sea border, in the distance he sees the sunset. Now since the sun is going down, people are starting  to leave the beach. At that moment Jack heads off home. Now he has a memory about a lovely day at the beach. He goes home and share’s his story with his family.

Stks

This morning a guy named Stks came to our assembly. Stks is a very talented person he can do likes of awesome stuff, like Sing with a lovely voice and can play the guitar. As he began singing I was surprised. Why? Because he's voice blew me away. I was really thankful because Pt England performance teacher brought Stks in to our school and I thought that was a great thing to do. At the end he sang a song called Rhythm And Brown. If you want a look Click on this link below.

Softball

Getting ready to go up and bat. The school that we were playing against first was Tamaki Primary. When Tamaki pitched it to JayLee she swung her bat, there goes the ball in the air flying.

As we moved on to versing against St Heliers, they were out feilding. Makerita batted the ball, the ball went far, but then she stopped at base two. "Batter up" Mrs Lagitupu said. JayLee went really serious, hitting the ball far, like it was  her enemy. Then GAME OVER." Yay" I cheered.

Man playing against Bailey road was probably the hardest game ever. The pitcher was a really good trower. She was pitching real fast, we couldn't even hit the ball. But Makerita, Mary and Jaylee could hit it. Thats how good they were. Then after versing Bailey Road we made it into the semi finals.

Now versing St Thomas. "Batter up the" umpire called. I'm getting ready to bat next. The as the pitcher pitches the ball i hit it toward the ground, letting Vivienne get home. Now going into the finals we verse  Bailey Road again.

My Narrative Story

Arriving at the reserve I see a little kid  waiting on the side of the rock with its feet touching the water. I shouted " Are you alright there". "What's your name" I carefully ask. "Hmm" He replied  looking down really worried. As I'm wondering what wrong, I sit next to him. He was probably thinking who I was.

I'm walking on the sand. Taking my sandals off, I look over to see if the little boy is still there. "I shout HELP" looking for the little boy. "Where are you!" I shouted. I am really worried. Then all a sudden I see a little hand getting washed out to shore. "HELP HELP" he screams. I jump into the salting water swimming out to shore. I'm trying to save him. But I see a shark fin heading towards him.

"Grab my hand" I tell the little boy. He says "Save me save me please before the shark comes" He grabs my hand and I put him on my back. Swimming like the shark was right behind us. I look back OMG the shark following us. My hand touches that rock. Finally!  I throw him onto the rock. With a thank you from the little boy I ask “Now can you tell me your name” “Massyn” he replied.

Rushing him to the hospital really scared. We got to there the doctors rushed him inside. I wait outside the room. Finally the doctors come out. “Is he alright” saying to the doctors. “Now I can go into and see him right” I said to myself. As I walked in, Massyn was laying on the bed sleeping. He wakes up with a surprise. “Hi” I say to Massyn.  He ask if I could do him a favour. “Sure” I replied. He ask me politely if I could buy him some dinner. Yes indeed I will.  I took him he’s dinner, then I told him that I need to go now see you in the morning. “ Okay” Massyn replies.

Three weeks later I see him playing with his friends. He runs up to me and ask “Hey aren't you the girl that save me”. “Hello your Massyn right!” I asked.  He thanked me for being there for him. I told him that i’ll see him in the future.
