Inspired by Will Power
I have just been inspired by one of the biggest pop stars in the world, Will.I.am. He arrived to our school with mana, faith and hope. Performing on stage in front of Will.i.am was really awesome. As I performed in the senior Kapa Haka group and the senior Hip Hop crew, I knew that we surprise him. The resoan why the senior Kapa Haka group performed is because Will.i.am has never seen a maori group like us.
Will.i.am has donated the Mainakalani schools $100,000.00. “WOW” I said to myself when I saw the cheque. It is really amazing for Will.i.am to give a really special gift to our cluster. Well in return we gave him back a koha which was a Taonga.
Getting comfortable for Will.i.am to speack. The main moment I wanted to see is what his accent sounded like. Man as soon as he spoke I was like WOW what an awesome accent. As he was telling us how grew up, I got really interested in him.
Meeting Will.i.am was really cool, well I didn't really meet him. Luckily our school prefects got to shake his hand, they even got a hung from him. As I could see, their was a huge line of video camera's. It was really incredible because we are going to be on the news.
He walked into our class with many television camera's, as Mr Burt introduced him to the class. Makerita asked WIll.i.am a question. He answered. But the most exciting part of it all was, WIll.i.am coming to Pt England school.
When I went home I ran into the lounge to see if the News was on. Excitedly waiting for the news to come on, I hit the button on the TV. The news came on Maori TV. I saw Patrick doing the boys haka. After the break on the news, I was shocked because I saw myself. It was so shaming, but my family was really happy.
I have really enjoyed Will.i.am at school. Now I know what it will be like if I was someone rich and famous.
